What is the step-by-step booking process? (1) Browse the fleet and pick a car. (2) Select your rental dates and confirm the booking. (3) A host is assigned and you receive confirmation. (4) Complete digital KYC (upload DL, Aadhaar, selfie — takes under 5 minutes). (5) Meet the host at the agreed pickup point or receive doorstep delivery. (6) Drive, refuel, and return on time. (7) Post-trip inspection, then your security deposit is refunded within 48 hours.

How is pricing determined and is it transparent? Yes — pricing is fully transparent with no hidden fees. The total depends on: vehicle type (hatchback, sedan, or SUV), rental duration (half-day pricing for ≤6 hours, full-day for >6–24 hours, multi-day rates beyond that), and any add-ons like doorstep delivery. All charges are itemised and shown at checkout before you confirm — what you see is exactly what you pay.

How is the fare calculated for different trip types? For city use, you pay a flat daily rate based on the car category. For outstation trips, the same daily rate applies with no per-km surcharge on most plans — check the listing for any km cap. For half-day rentals (≤6 hours), a reduced rate applies. Multi-day bookings are progressively more cost-effective. A detailed fare breakdown is shown before you confirm your booking.

What payment methods does Drigo accept? We accept UPI, Debit/Credit Cards, and Net Banking. Payment is completed online at the time of booking. A refundable security deposit is collected separately and returned within 48 hours of drop-off.

How far in advance should I book for the best availability? Book at least 2–4 hours before your desired pickup time for most requests. For early-morning pickups, airport transfers, or outstation trips, booking a day in advance is strongly recommended — it gives hosts time to prepare the vehicle and ensures you get your preferred car.

Can bookings be made outside working hours (before 8 AM or after 10 PM)? Our support team is available 8 AM–10 PM, all days. For early-morning or late-night requirements — such as airport transfers — please contact us in advance during working hours so we can arrange the handover. Additional charges may apply for pickups or drop-offs outside regular hours.

What documents do I need? A valid Driving Licence (minimum 1 year old), Aadhaar card, PAN card, and a selfie. All KYC is done digitally in the app — no office visit needed.

Is there a security deposit? Yes, a refundable security deposit applies and varies by car type. It is shown at checkout and returned within 48 hours of drop-off, provided the car is returned on time, undamaged, and with the same fuel level.

Can I cancel or reschedule my booking? Yes — cancellations made 48+ hours before pickup receive a full refund. To reschedule, contact us via WhatsApp or call before your trip begins; we'll adjust your dates subject to availability. Cancellations closer to the pickup time may attract a fee.
